My name is Roman Liufa. I was born in the Far East of Russia. Now I live in a north suburb of Chicago.
I am a self-taught photographer. When I was 4 years old, my father passed away and left me his old film camera and dark-room equipment. They became my toys. Through play I learned how to photograph, develop film, print images, how to compose and use light.
I believe that a photograph keeps photographer's intention and the energy of the place where it was taken. In my work I want to show blessed and spiritual energy of Nature. So when you look at it you will be blessed.
