Welcome to Roman Liufa Photography
Born in the Far East of Russia, Roman now calls the northern suburbs of Chicago home.
A self-taught photographer, his journey into photography began at the age of
four, when his father passed away and left him an old film camera and darkroom
equipment.
These became Roman’s cherished toys, and through playing with them,
he learned the art of photography, film development, and printing.
Roman believes that photographs embody the
intention of the photographer and capture the energy of the moment and place in
which they were created. Through his work, he honors the beauty of
nature, hoping to share its blessings and grace with others. His wish is that,
when you view his photographs, they bring you a sense of peace, wonder, and
joy.
